PERIMENOPAUSE & MENOPAUSE

Natural Support for Menopause

Perimenopause is considered to be the five to ten years before a woman's last menstrual period. Menopause is defined as occurring 12 months after the last menstrual period. Perimenopause and menopause are natural processes that happen to every woman, with every female experiencing these transitions differently.

The age at which menopause occurs differs, but is usually between the ages of 45-55, with the average being 51. Although menopause symbolises the end of a woman’s fertile years, we believe menopausal women can absolutely remain healthy, symptom-free and vibrant. In other words, this means being full of vitality and sexuality, when good care is taken of physical, emotional and mental health.

What’s the secret to a smooth transition into perimenopause, menopause and beyond? The secret to longevity and radiant aging? We believe it is looking after yourself early on! Taking care of your body, utilising diet, lifestyle and preventative medicine throughout your fertile years. It makes a big difference as to how your body transitions into perimenopause and menopause. And if you’re already there, don’t stress, there is so much you can do and so much we can help you with!

At Darling Health, we take an integrated approach to supporting women during their menopausal years.
