Renee Boyd is a highly qualified and experienced acupuncturist and Chinese Medicinal herbalist, with a particular interest in women’s health, natural fertility and pregnancy support.  A dedicated and empathetic practitioner, Renee’s personalised treatments aim to achieve optimal health through acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, moxibustion, cupping, diet and lifestyle supports.

Renee is passionate about supporting women and couples in achieving their family building goals and has a wealth of experience with women and men’s infertility including; unexplained infertility, recurrent miscarriages, ART/IVF/IUI support, hormonal imbalances, irregular ovulation, PCOS, endometriosis, sub-optimal egg quality and low sperm count/morphology/motility. Renee is passionate about supporting women and partners undergoing IVF treatment and creating a holistic fertility and pregnancy program that works for you.

Renee shares in the joy of a healthy pregnancy. Nurturing your body and taking care of your health is one of the best ways to ensure a happy and healthy pregnancy. Chinese medicine can offer wonderful support to women in all stages of pregnancy to help you make the most of the experience.  Acupuncture can also assist with birth preparation. Renee is guided by the principles of integrative medicine, often collaborating with specialists, GP’s and other allied health practitioners to maintain a comprehensive, continuity of care. In addition to women’s health and infertility, Renee’s clinical focus includes insomnia, digestive problems, acute and chronic pain, skin conditions, emotional disorders and stress-related illness. Renee is also certified in Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture, a specialised program of acupuncture treatments targeted to help soften lines, lift sagging areas, increase firmness, and promote circulation to boost the production of collagen and elastin.

Renee completed a Bachelor of Health Science degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the University of Technology Sydney, achieving the University’s highest award for Chinese Herbal Medicine and the award for highest performing student in the final year.  She was also the recipient of the Dean’s Merit Award in each year of study. Renee regularly participates in ongoing training and education and has completed postgraduate studies in women’s health, IVF, infertility, and pregnancy support.

Renee is an accredited member of the Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association (AACMA), the peak professional association for Chinese Medicine Practitioners in Australia, and a registered member of the Chinese Medicine Board of Australia.
