ACUPUNCTURE
Acupuncture was developed thousands of years ago in China and is one of the most widely practiced areas of complementary medicine.
Acupuncture is a holistic treatment based on the principle that qi (energy) can be activated by the placement and manipulation of fine needles into acupuncture points. Acupuncture works on correcting imbalances, helping the body to heal itself and return to a state of homeostasis.

Acupuncture can support physical and emotional health, and improve overall bodily function and well-being. Treatments are customised to the individual presentation, and may include the use of electro-acupuncture, moxibustion, infra-red therapy, cupping and gua sha.

In Australia, acupuncture is regulated by AHPRA. Practitioners registered with AHPRA are required to have completed a minimum 4 year degree training with over 600hrs of clinical supervision. This is different to needle training that some health professionals do in a couple of days. At Darling Health, we believe in providing you with the highest standard of acupuncture and continually exceed the minimum requirements for ongoing education.

If you are unsure as to whether Chinese Medicine can help please feel free to contact us at the clinic with any questions.
