Sometimes life can feel overwhelming, stressful and confusing and it’s difficult to see a way out. It can feel like you’re in a ‘fog’ where you’re unable to make decisions about your life. Perhaps you are hurting from past pains that you just cannot shake from your present life, and you can see no alternative but to just have to ‘suck it up’ and live with it.

Seeing one of Darling Street Health Centre’s psychologists can really help you to sort through the difficult times and help you find peace, joy and wellbeing again.

Counselling

All psychologists offer counselling in a caring, respectful and professional environment and help their clients achieve wonderful results and positive change in their lives.

Counselling is essentially a talking process but is so much more. It allows you to explore changes in your life and your belief systems and gives you that supportive space in your life which is all too precious these days, to allow clarity and change into your life.

Below you will find a small profile on each of our psychologists. For more information, click on their link or please call reception on 02 9555 8806 and talk to one of the staff or ask to speak directly to the psychologist you are thinking of seeing.

Jacqui Manning

Jacqui has been using and teaching meridian tapping (also known as EFT or SET) since 1999 and it is a core tool of her practice. She is always delighted at the speed with which results can occur using tapping alongside her counselling skills, and has helped hundreds of clients over the years conquer panic attacks, phobias, limiting self-beliefs, childhood trauma, health issues, public speaking fears and much more.

Rebekka Tuqiri

Rebekka is a registered psychologist. She is also highly trained in meridian tapping and along with her expertise in CBT (Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy) and solution-focused therapy she is able to help clients change and heal. She finds clients achieve results when they are able to identify unhelpful patterns of thinking and behaving as well as use meridian tapping to calm the body’s natural reaction to negative feelings such as anger, fear, shame, grief, anxiety and hurt. Rebekka has helped a wide range of clients with a diverse range of issues and continues to enjoy such valuable work.

Lenore Watts

For over a decade Lenore has been successfully helping people to cope with difficult and at times overwhelming emotions such as anxiety, shame, stress, sadness, fear, phobias, anger and more. From personal experience she understands how scary, confusing and difficult making change can seem and the freedom, joy and empowerment it can create when you do. One of the main tools Lenore uses in her practice is an easy and effective tool called meridian tapping (also known as EFT or SET). She combines meridian tapping with her professional training, personal experiences and genuine love of people to support them in making positive personal and life changes.
